Job Description

Converse Martech & Consumer Data ANALYST

The Martech Data Analyst will be primarily focused on the platform and data asset management including all end to end related data processes. In this role you will be responsible for supporting daily auditing practices and vendor communication regarding data within the global digital consumer analytics platform that powers our email and other marketing channels, in addition to membership & community on-site experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Serving as a technical data SME for a number of tools in the Consumer and Martech stack, such as email, CDP, data insights platforms
  • Owns the management and solutioning of the data driven technical infrastructure that powers Converse’s .com digital marketing
  • Works within an agile framework and partners closely with product managers to ensure development and release schedule is in sync with business priorities
  • Manages Salesforce Marketing Cloud inbound and outbound data integrations and is hands-on within the tool
  • Partners closely with the analytics tech team around data integration work that powers martech solutions
  • Coordinates and participates in testing and is responsible for insuring implementation integrity
  • Change management, including implementation of new marketing technology rollouts
  • Potentially overseeing training and user adoption for any new or existing digital marketing initiative
  • Lead user acceptance testing while correcting any issues that arise
  • Stays informed on industry trends and new technologies within the martech space to influence product roadmap and strategy

Qualifications:

We are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3-5 year’s experience in a marketing technology and consumer data role within digital commerce
  • Minimum of 2 year’s experience with hands on expertise managing Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Exact Target) and experience with other martech tools like such as audience management, DMP
  • Experience with JavaScript, Standard Query Language (SQL), Testing and debugging 
  • Understanding of social networks and experience using social network APIs (Facebook apps, Twitter apps, and Open Social Apps)
  • Understanding of digital marketing strategy, attribution, membership/email acquisition strategies to evaluate technical feasibility
  • Ability to both technically design solutions and be able to project manage and communicate up to business stakeholders at different levels of the org
  • Experience working in an agile framework and backlog management
  • Understanding of overall retail data architecture and the flow of data within the martech ecosystem
