The Content platform for the ecosystem of Sport to efficiently power Client’s Global, Personalized, Consumer anywhere experiences and journeys.

Client strives to connect athletes* to every aspect of sport* through daily engagement. We want to accompany them on their athletic journeys every day. A consumer wants to engage with Client on the channels that resonate with her. She expects the experience to be contextual, relevant, and personalized based on information she’s shared with Client. She is not satisfied with one size fits all marketing strategies. Content must be in her language.

The content platform provides tools and services to handle and publish a pool of localized content that is attributed for personalized delivery. Our headless approach enables multi-channel content reuse. Automation enables us to assemble and publish product detail pages without human intervention.

Your Role

As a services software engineer, you will architect, develop, test and deploy complex solutions in the content domain. You will be a prolific code contributor and demonstrate code ownership! Additionally, you will advise product owners on technology-related business problems; formulating options and assessing their relative merits and risk to figure out the best solution. You are encouraged to mentor junior developers on the team, and through code reviews, ensure that all the work is the best possible. Writing unit will help prove you are done and prevent production issues. You will assist in resolving production issues. You will work with multiple cross functional engineering teams to build the future of sport.

What You'll bring to Client

  • Proven experience as a highly productive developer with modern cloud computing stacks for deploying microservices and micro-frontends at scale. For example, AWS for cloud provider, EKS for Kubernetes, Docker for containers, Jenkins for CI/CD.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or other relevant subject area
  • Minimum 8 years (or 5 years w/ Master’s degree in specified fields) of hands-on experience in Java as part of a development team, building large scale web applications
  • Experience with Springboot
  • Production level Experience in using infrastructure as code and configuration management (Chef, Puppet, Cloud Formation etc)
  • Prior experience in crafting and implementing highly scalable web applications
  • Expertise in designing and creating scalable services, REST Web Services
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
  • Hands on experience in monitoring and monitoring tools (New Relic, SignalFX etc)
  • Preference for candidates with experience in the content domain ideally with headless CMS
