Job Description

If You Join Us, You Will:

  • As an Automation Developer and Member of an Agile Team you will provide support for a DevSecOps team developing multiple modern Platform using PaaS services like Azure DevOps and Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) (including Agile, IT Service Management, and Lean)
  • Participate in the design, development, testing, and management of processes and tools in the DevSecOps tool chain
  • Provide support with Configuration Management (CM) and Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD)
  • Write Powershell scripting for software automation
  • Support systems and proves to ensure compliance with established standards and requirements
  • You will support multiple teams to modernize a DevSecOps Platform for a Federal Financial Agency

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experienced with using git as a source control system for scripts
  • Experienced with writing & maintaining PowerShell script for software automation
  • Experience familiar with and/or willing to learn about writing automated tests for their scripts
  • Experience with test-driven development; PowerShell-based testing frameworks (like Pester) would be a plus
  • Experience with batch scripting, you will be working with some older machines & legacy code
  • Experience: 3-5 years of overall IT experience
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in information technology or related field of study
  • Current federal agency Public Trust desired
  • Background investigation, fingerprint, and credit check required for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience collaborating with customers, developers, UX designers, and other non-technical partners
  • Exposed to developing big data, AI/ML, event-streaming, edge-computing, cybersecurity solutions
