UX Production Coordinator, Global Digital Experience

Leading with Digital, Converse is setting a bold strategic plan to enable and inspire consumer self- expression by positioning converse.com as the first and best source for authentic Converse products and experiences.

We’re seeking an intermediate producer to join our in-house UX team. As our UX Production Coordinator you will work with in-house resources to deliver simple, beautiful, seamless and distinctive Converse digital commerce experiences across our web platforms.

Tapping into your knowledge of ecommerce and UX best practices and your understanding of data- informed decision making, you will coordinate the production of new and ongoing testing projects as well as planned eCommerce platform optimization projects. You will move specific enhancements projects forward through established processes.

You will intake all unplanned projects and coordinate with UX leadership to prioritize the work against the team’s planned roadmap. You’ll create realistic project plans against these bodies of work and hold internal and cross-functional teams accountable to meeting defined milesones. You’ll support resource gathering in advance of project kick-off, keep the team’s board up-to-date, and ensure all in-flight work is progressing.

You will coordinate projects that enable our ability to rapidly react to our customer and the needs of the business. You’ll collaborate with partners across multiple global regions to understand their market and platform dynamics and optimize platform experiences. You will work closely with key business partners, including testing and optimization and geo stakeholders, ensuring UX “read and react” projects are produced on the committed timelines.

You’ll own regular communications with cross-functional teams, keeping them in-the-loop on all UX projects currently in production and aware of the roadmap.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Experience Production:

  • Collaborate confidently and successfully within a team environment. Capability to offer advice on simple UX projects, and know who to go to to solve a complex user problem.
  • Manage established (“work back”) schedules for multiple projects with similar and tight deadlines on an ongoing basis.
  • Guarantee adherance to scopes of work and manage project trajectories to complete on time.
  • Communicate status of projects to all stakeholders regularly and track stakeholder feedback.
  • Produce UX design projects for Converse digital commerce including select enhancements projects, ongoing experience optimization efforts and A/B / user testing intiatives.
  • Relentlessly push initiatives from loose concept through final production, ensuring uncompromising standards of quality at every step.
  • Manage production of UX design projects, including UX team coordination as well as coordination of adjacent internal teams and external creative partners.
  • Understand A/B testing and User Testing tools, best practices, and processes (preferred).

Consumer Connection & Experience Optimization:

  • Prioritize the consumer’s needs and interests at all times.

 

Requirements for the position include:

  • 2+ years working in or with a UX team in an ecommerce environment, including interaction and visual design of digital products/experiences that have been released to market.
  • 3+ years of project management experience in an Agency or eCommerce environment
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks, and reliably meet deadlines.
  • Ability to independently gather all information required to write a clearly defined user story that allows the UX designer to understand the user problem to be solved.
  • Flexible and able to adapt quickly to new priorities.
  • Detail orientation and intrinsic passion toward success and high quality delivery.
  • Outstanding team player and positive attitude.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Logical reasoning, troubleshooting and creative problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and process excellence.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including meeting facilitation.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Asana, JIRA, Smartsheets, Excel, etc.
  • Familiarity with development processes is a plus.
  • Familiarity in user-centered design methods, including user research and synthesis, exploration, storytelling, detailed design, user testing and prototyping is a plus.
  • Preferred experience with content management systems.
  • Experience with SFCC/Demandware is a plus.
  • Knowledge of design tools and processes is a plus.

 

Requires a Bachelors Degree.
