We are seeking a team member to serve as a Solution Architect who can enable our client’s vision by designing, architecting and implementing our WMS solution. This role will be the lead in collaborating with customers from the sales process through to successful go-live on WDG’s client WMS, and will be engaged in the client relationship end-to-end. This includes leading requirements gathering, designing solutions, training end-users, assisting user acceptance testing and completing a successful “go-live.” Ideal candidates can run successful implementations independently as well as part of a larger team.

Responsibilities

· Lead WMS implementation projects from beginning to end:

· Requirements gathering during discovery phase

· Understanding customer operations and recommending best practices and solutions to optimize client investment.

· Leading system design as the architect of the Solution Summary Document, and reviewing and managing junior consultants work product

· Supporting training, testing and go-live

· Communicate ideas, solutions and plans from end user to executive levels

· Be our client’s trusted advisor by providing best industry practices

· Train, coach and mentor junior team members

· Execute training for client super users and end users

· Build project artifacts and collateral for future use

· QA and review system design solutions of other architects and consultants

· Troubleshoot software related issues

· Provide L2 or L3 functional support for clients and internal departments such as sales, marketing, support and professional services

Requirements

· 7+ years WMS experience

· Logical thinker

· Possess excellent communication and writing skills

· Ability to establish rapport with diverse client base

· Must be able to organize, prioritize & work with minimal directions

· Team work and client focused

· B.S./B.A. in Computer/Information Sciences, Industrial Engineering, Philosophy or like degree

· Graduate degree is a plus

· Lead 4 full life cycle implementations of one or more WMS software packages, ideally from systems like Manhattan Associates (WMOS, SCALE), BlueYonder (JDA, Red Prairie), HighJump, Oracle (LogFire), Zethcon (Synapse), Deposco (Bright Warehouse) or Softeon

· Working knowledge of SQL

· Strong knowledge of EDI transactions and data mapping

· SME on MHE, Voice and integrations with host systems such as ERPs including Netsuite, Sage, SAP, Oracle, Acumatica and Infor a plus

· Ability to debug and walk through log file and code a plus
