Job Description

The HRIS Business Analyst will support and maintain Organizational Development’s systems and applications. This position is based in our Milpitas Headquarters office and reports to the VP of Human Resources. The successful candidate in this position will champion and dive deep into a variety of systems utilized by the Organizational Development team. The candidate will be able to successfully guide business groups to solutions utilizing their existing systems and help them develop processes that incorporate best practices in those key systems.
 

The HR Systems Business Analyst plays a key role in understanding how a department uses software and the processes required to accomplish the goals of the group. Successful candidates in this role possess a creative, entrepreneurial, relationship role that operates at a strategic business level.
 

Primary Responsibilities:
 

  • Coordinate business solutions using key systems such as Paylocity, Jobvite, NOVAtime, Cornerstone, PayScale and more.
  • Collaborate with external partners to determine solutions that work for both input and output
  • Partner with IT and others to ensure the groups needs are scheduled and prioritized within the greater scope of the organizations needs
  • Fully understand business initiatives and how current systems play into them
  • Generate analytics using industry standard report writing tools, creating dashboards, and optimizing Data Insights
  • Optimize quality and efficiency controls involving process around the Organizational Development’s key platforms
  • Update processes to optimize new and existing systems to meet initiatives and goals

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
 

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field required. A minimum five (5) years progressive HRIS experience, including implementation and integrations.
 

  • 3-5 years business process experience
  • 3-5 years helping to integrate business processes with technical systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience creating requirements documentation
  • Ability to identify opportunities to leverage technologies to optimize solutions
  • Experience analyzing business case solutions to be able to communicate their value
  • Coordination and planning of process implementation and systems components working together
  • Manage and improve the portfolio of business solutions in Organizational Development
  • Influence decisions about services, internal resources, IT initiatives, shared services, and external providers
  • Optimize individual solutions costs and coordinate permanent cost optimizations
