Job Description

Position Summary: The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for the targeting, acquisition, and long-term financial performance of the assigned client product portfolio. The role will also be responsible for ensuring all performance metrics of the assigned account(s) are meeting the customer’s needs regarding Quality, Production, Engineering, Program Launch, and any other Account Management related Key Performance Indicators.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Develop and execute long term business development strategy across OEM programs

• Target future business and revenue opportunities in accordance with OEM sales strategy

• Manage the client Advanced Product Development / customer interface and develop strategies to implement client developed new technologies

• Lead a cross functional team to manage financial performance of the OEM Account Management business

• Develop and present pricing, profitability, and competitive analysis for customers

• Maintain assigned product portfolio in alignment with client’s current business growth strategy

• Develop and track key metrics for performance and develop, propose and implement solution strategies

• Collaborate with multi-national commercial teams to develop global business strategy for assigned accounts

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with all levels of our OEM and Tier One customers

• Mentor Account and Program Management team members and help them grow within the client organization

REQUIREMENTS Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required Years of Experience:

• 10-15 years of experience in account management related to a major OEM customer/ Tier One supplier.

• 3-5 years of experience working with an OEM customer with intimate knowledge of their business, processes and systems Other Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license required for business travel

• Working knowledge of OE business processes and systems

• Proven success in customer acquisition & retention

• Work beyond the traditional 40 hours per week may be required as workload or projects dictate
