The Client  Product Innovation & Consumer Creation Product Development team, builds, manages, and maintains the systems Client  uses to capture and deliver product creation instructions to our Factory Partners around the world.  We are on a multi-year journey to modernize our aging systems, create digital platforms for our user community, and digitize the product creation processes to accelerate the product creation process at Client  while reducing cost, improving product quality, and moving to a more sustainable future. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Client ’s Product Innovation and Consumer Creation Product Development team is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to help build out Client ’s end to end digital experiences to connect design details through physical product development – this might be Material & Color Management, Bill of Materials Management, Costing Management or Product Engineering.  As the Senior Scrum Master in the Product Development organization, you will manage multiple teams of medium to large scale through all sprints/iterations. You will organize and facilitate scrum-related meetings and update agile tracking systems to provide transparency on product and sprint backlogs. You will also be responsible for ensuring the development teams are practicing core agile principles.

The right person for this role will bring a growth mindset, a positive problem-solving attitude, as well as a broad collection of tools, experiences, frameworks and capabilities. Additional attributes that will lead to success in this role include a desire to bring clarity and order to chaos, an ability to navigate across Client , systems level thinking, excellent, concise, and professional verbal and written communication skills, as well as an ability to succeed up and down management layers.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As a Senior Scrum Master, you will partner with Product Managers and the engineering team to develop and enhance the capabilities of the product creation systems. Additionally, as a Senior Scrum master, there is a heavy emphasis on mentoring others on Agile practices, principles, and values while advancing the Agile capabilities of the team as the expert resource.

WHAT YOU BRING

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years’ experience in program management or technical leadership
  • Comprehensive understanding of software development processes, including continuous delivery, DevOps, Scrum, and Kanban; advanced Agile mindset and expertise
  • Familiarity with domain driven and microservice architecture
  • Familiarity with Cloud Native applications on AWS a plus
  • Extensive Scrum experience, developing and cultivating a diverse team
  • Comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • A consistent track record improving Agile maturity of the squad through coaching/mentorship and developing talent
  • Demonstrated experience in driving continuous process improvements in the team’s value stream; championing a continuous improvement culture and mindset
  • A deep understanding of what it takes to ship software iteratively in collaboration with large engineering, design, and product teams
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and proven experience leading discussions with senior leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in technology or e-commerce

  • Act as a coach, thought partner, and Agile evangelist across the business in service to the consumer
  • Set the tone of operations by fostering a culture of trust and collaboration
  • Identify, remove and escalate risks, roadblocks and cross-team dependencies that are unresolvable by the team and interfere with the team’s ability to deliver
  • Facilitate the team’s retrospectives to support team problem solving
