As the Converse Grey Market Management Analyst, you'd be joining a growing team and be responsible for establishing and supporting our Geo partners to better manage the marketplace! We are looking for a self-starter who can multi-task, collaborate and work cross functionally in a constantly evolving environment.

In this role you will support the management of multiple investigations to help ensure a clean marketplace across the different Geos. Strong communication and analytical skills are needed along with being comfortable working with multiple partners. Working on the Converse business will be an exciting and meaningful experience collaborating with geography teams, analytics, and many others. This role reports within the Grey Market Management function of the Partnership Go To Consumer organization where we are committed to ensuring our consumers have a positive and authorized interaction with our Brand and your contributions will be a big part of our strategy for continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, assess and report marketplace information, statistics and trends stemming from bookings analysis and unauthorized distribution
  • Prioritize key brand initiatives, categories, and styles to aid in investigative efforts
  • Identify potentially problematic unauthorized sellers, legally trace their sources, when available, and log evidence into a case management system
  • Ability to story-tell and present enforcement remediations in a logical, meaningful, and concise format to multiple partners while coordinating and leading efforts to complete remedial actions with Geo marketplace operations, finance and MPU’s
  • Work directly with the Geo team to identify suspicious booking behavior, provide updates, report on results, and align with Geo strategy
  • Work cross-functionally with partners to sharpen investigations, share data, elevate process standardization, and document policy violations, including international shipping
  • Use technology platforms, internal and external resources, and analytical tools to innovate, build and deliver assessments for reporting purposes
  • Willingness to take calls and meetings outside of normal business hours to better coordinate with different Geo teams globally
  • Act, drive and engage with a “progress over perfection” mentality and be a creative problem solver

 

Qualifications:

  • 4-year B.A. in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Marketing, Communications or related field or 2 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum 2+ years relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications in required
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with a high degree of ambiguity, logical problem structuring and strategic problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding ability to analyze data to provide insights and make recommendations
  • Strong analytical, verbal and written presentation skills
  • Can-do attitude and history of making stuff happen independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in digital/e-commerce, understanding of the grey market and basic retail acuity

Desired Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in database management, data visualization, business analytics tools (ie. Tableau, Power BI, etc), Case Management Systems, GIS and other analytic tools
  • Fluently read, speak and write additional languages beyond English a plus
