Global Safety & Security Project Manager Duties and Responsibilities

Every successful team at Client  needs a brilliant game plan – with our plan to elevate operational excellence across the Office of General Counsel (OGC). The Global Safety & Security Business Operations team works to drive increased efficiency; amplify predictability and consistency in our strategic and business planning processes; and deliver on opportunities with the biggest impact across the OGC and Client .

As an integral part of the Global Safety & Security Business Operations team, the EHS Project Manager will work cross functionally across the Mid-South EHS functions to provide project management and operational support that ensures

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain project plans, define project scope, manage timelines and deliverables and ensure timely escalations
  • Support project team coordination and alignment
  • Facilitate effective collaboration across the EHS team in order to deliver efficient and timely results by creating program controls and governance standards in partnership with the Global Business Operations team
  • Formulate and drive actionable recommendations in order to solve complex problems
  • Develop and execute a holistic and comprehensive project management strategy to enable successful project execution, adoption, and sustainability
  • Develop the cross functional relationships required to ensure effective execution
  • Proven skills in creating and facilitating presentations, including high-profile, executive communications

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ previous experience in program management, project management or related field and demonstrated mastery of fundamental program and project management skills
  • Highly motivated & self-starter
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Can work well with others and excel working cross-functionally
  • Proven ability to successfully navigate and get things done within a large highly matrixed and complex organization
  • Excellent communication skills (building presentations, editing, and writing) with proven experience leading discussions with senior leadership
  • Demonstrated experience working in team-oriented roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others
