You will utilize and advance your design and analysis skills as a team member that develops products from concept to implementation. The team develops innovative products for the client and include active safety devices with a focus on electronic design and circuit development. Your knowledge/interest in circuit design (both analog and digital), schematic capture, circuit prototyping, circuit testing, and circuit debugging will be critical to your success in this role. Our state-of-the art facilities will provide you with opportunities to see your designs move from concept to production as you solve problems in our customer-focused environment.  

What You Will Do

  • Design, schematic capture, and prototype electronic products.
  • Test and verify new designs.
  • Implement designs into production.
  • Work with vendors and sourcing to define technical requirements for the product/components.
  • Create and execute test plans for hardware and software validation.
  • Design and implement electrical stress tests to ensure the reliability of the product.

What You Will Bring.

  • BSEE (MSEE or higher degree preferred)
  • The ability to work closely with other engineers, lab technicians, product management and customers in a team environment
  • Experience with personal computers; MS Word, Excel and Project required
  • Microcontroller based hardware design and development knowledge/experience
  • Digital and Analog (e.g., drivers, power supplies, batteries) hardware design and development knowledge/experience
  • Software packages, C, C++
  • Schematic capture experience (Altium Designer is a plus)
  • Physical circuit board layout experience (e.g. Altium, OrCAD, Mentor, Cadence Allegro) a plus
