Job Description

Major Responsibilities/Primary Functions

  • Act as a business analyst by forming strong partnerships with HR teammates; seek information from users and understand their needs. Assist users by describing and understanding Dayforce's solutions and leverage Dayforce to meet business needs.
  • Process daily requests from users. Provide production support, research and resolve system related issues; perform scheduled activities (mass updates), and recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet new and existing requirements.
  • Coach teammates on system use and report running as needed.
  • Assist with implementation of new functionality which will include test scripts, testing, creating user documents and training documents.
  • Assist with implementation for global offices as needed.
  • Create and maintain a variety of reports or queries utilizing the appropriate reporting tools. Assist with the development of standard report templates to support ongoing customer needs.
  • Design and implement dashboards and reports providing the Company with business intelligence critical to driving strategies and making key decisions.
  • Maintain the HRIS system including security, business processes, reporting, integrations and other aspects of the system; use escalation protocols appropriately.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of effective, efficient, and flexible business processes.
  • Define and prioritize projects based on impact and effort; Manage multiple Dayforce projects simultaneously.

Qualifications, Distinguishing Characteristics and Special Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years prior experience configuring Dayforce/Ceridian or similar HRIS system is required
  • Strong understanding of HRIS architecture (Dayforce preferred), security, and data loading protocols
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and report writing is required
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and strong cross-functional relationships across an organization to achieve common goals
  • Proven project management and process improvement skills
  • Proven skill in prioritizing, problem-solving and accelerating change
  • Demonstrated experience as an inquisitive creative thinker, with an innovative growth mindset
  • A sense of urgency and ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
