Job Description

As a Business Development Executive (Product Marketing) , your primary responsibility will be to engage potential clients, understand their needs and requirements, and effectively communicate the value proposition of our software product. Your role is essential in driving the growth of our client base and expanding the reach of our software solutions. You will play a vital part in converting leads into satisfied clients by showcasing the benefits and features of our product suite.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients through various channels, such as online platforms, industry events, and referrals.

  2. Cold Outreach: Initiate contact with leads via phone calls, emails, and networking events, and establish rapport to understand their pain points and requirements.

  3. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our software product's features, functionalities, and advantages over competitors. Stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics.

  4. Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough needs assessment discussions with potential clients to identify how our software solution aligns with their business objectives and challenges.

  5. Customized Presentations: Tailor presentations and demonstrations to highlight the specific ways our software can address each client's unique needs and deliver value.

  6. Value Proposition: Articulate the value proposition of our software product clearly and persuasively, emphasizing its benefits, ROI, and long-term advantages.

  7. Objection Handling: Address any objections or concerns potential clients may have and provide accurate information to alleviate doubts.

  8. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients by being a reliable and informative point of contact throughout the sales process.

  9. Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to share insights, gather feedback, and refine sales strategies based on client interactions.

  10. CRM Management: Keep accurate records of client interactions, lead progress, and communication history in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

  11. Follow-up: Consistently follow up with leads, provide additional information, and nurture relationships to move them along the sales pipeline.

  12. Sales Quotas: Strive to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas to contribute to the overall team's success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for learning about software solutions and technology trends.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Self-motivated and proactive attitude.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Prior experience in sales, customer service, or software-related roles is a plus.
